Seadra's story is a cautionary tale on being careful who you adopt from. It goes without saying that Seadra is an odd mix of many energetic, vocal breeds. When we first found Seadra online she was up for rehome for free in a state rehome group. We met her old owner at a park and ran a standard Volhard test and she passed with flying colors. After taking her back with us, hours later she slowly began to show her true colors. Seadra is dog selective and has genetic anxiety. We believe these issues were why she was up for rehome and that she was drugged for her test. She is now back on meds and doing well in her pet life. Seadra is the kind of dog that literally folds herself in half so she can curl up to you as much as she can. She enjoys hiking, fetch and playing with he select dogs she enjoys. We also found out that she has a life time fear of people of color. Something they failed to mention. Her owner understands and has decided to save for a well bred dog in the future and promises to keep Seadra safe and happy for the rest of her days.
