Siberian Huskies
Siberian Huskies are native to Siberia, Russia. They were brought to Alaska,US in 1909. They were sled dogs. There are several color variations here on the akc page.
Double layered coat that you dont need to shave, is good for water wicking in winter snow or water to stay warm. Doesnt do well in heat. Needs to be well groomed to prevented compacted.
They are a primitive breed meaning an "ancient type of canine that has retained the physical and behavioral traits of its wild ancestors with little to no recent human alteration".
Unlike Poodles with a Barbet prior to them in genetics, Huskies dont descend from a different breed.
